Almost 600 racers, including 45 teams and several Anderson and Anwatin Middle School TRI team members, competed Saturday in the 4th annual City of Lakes Tri-Loppet. Rain greeted the competitors as they arrived at Lake Calhoun, but backed off as the day progressed to make for a terrific day of racing. |

Hats for the 2009 City of Lakes Tri-Loppet are in. This year’s Tri-Loppet hats are high tech and foldable. The hats come in two colors – light grey and ice blue. |

460 participants and 220+ boats took part in the 2008 City of Lakes Tri-Loppet. A spotty weather day meant a mix of sun, rain - and mud. There was brilliant sunshine during the paddle. The run was a little wet. And after a fifteen minute downpour - the bike was a lot wet. But the competitors seemed to revel in it. There were exciting finishes in all of the various categories: Doubles, Solo and Teams... |
